Michael Trzcinski of Temperance, Michigan was nominated by MR to be the President of JS’ up and coming fan club, the Jacksen Faction.

Trzcinski is one of the biggest Kasey Kahne supporters in the country, being the administrator of the KK social site, Victory Kahne. He is also a huge classic car enthusiast, bringing a lot of knowledge to the table for the Jacksen Faction.

MR and JS himself are extremely excited to give Trzcinski this opportunity, and we hope you’ll tune in to the Jacksen Faction when it comes online. Fan support is incredible, so a special thanks to all the fans who participate in our activities!

The fans have spoken, and decided they'd like to see an official JS fan club...

The fans have spoken, and decided they’d like to see an official JS fan club. After another vote, they decided it should be called the Jacksen Faction.

With this fan club, JS fans will have the opportunity to get information before anyone else, and interact with each other on whatever topics they choose. Later in time, we will also have perks that everyone who is part of the fan club will be allowed to receive. As of now, The Jacksen Faction is still in the development stages, and more information will be available as it is received.

JS would like to personally thank all his fans who helped out, and all the fan who support him day in and day out. More information will be available both on his Twitter and Facebook account.

JS ran 80 laps in a NASCAR Nationwide Series car this morning, as a graduating present from his long term race team. He ran some laps with other cars on the track, and some alone, on the same track the Sprint Cup stars race on every year.

JS said it was an awesome experience to drive on a track where some of the best have claimed victory. Later in the evening, JS and his crew had a championship photo shoot in hand to celebrate once more their impressive 2010 performance. Photos will be up in both photo album shortly.

The Ford/AAA competition, although being a great experience for automotive students, didn’t quite go as planned for the Smith/McCutcheon duo. Equipment problems started off the struggles early for them, as the computer they were using to get information from died.

The duos sister team of Marshall Brittons, however, took the championship home for the school. Both teams were relieved to be able to take the trophy back home to the school.

In his final appearance at his best track, JS looked for a glorious closing of a Thunder Car legacy, but received less than hoped for...

In his final appearance at his best track, JS looked for a glorious closing of a Thunder Car legacy, but received less than hoped for. It was a beautiful sunny day at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a perfect day for racing. As usual, JS and his team hung out at the speedway, proceeding to the Kobalt Tools 400 Sprint Cup Series event.

At the conclusion of Carl Edwards performance to seal the victory at LVMS, it was time for the drivers meeting, and racing for the INEX teams. JS was confident with his ability to perform in this event, seeing that he has 3 wins, and 5 top-five finishes in 5 starts.

In first practice, Smith knew he didn’t have a very good car after spinning out off of turn 2. After a quick adjustment, was the heat race, where JS said his car was not much better, but he was able to hold onto it to finish 3rd. At the conclusion of the heat race, another adjustment was made in an attempt to tighten up the ill-handling race car JS was piloting.

The race was all but amazing, Smith started 3rd, and was able to advance to the lead in 5 laps, only to fall back down to 2nd the following lap due to handling issues. Smith had a hard time keeping his race car under control, but did so in an effort to finish 2nd. MR would like to have seen a victory in Smith’s final race, but had to settle for a runner-up in a race where everyone felt JS should have won.

JS looks to bigger and better things now though, including finding a ride to drive professionally for someone. JS dreams of driving someone else race car, and being strong at it. We will see where opportunities take him.
